Round Wood Systems has initiated a dowel mill head rebuild program where we perform a basic rebuild of your existing dowel mill head for a set price. Advantages to this new program include providing mill operators with a firm quote up front and clearly identifying repairs included in the price. Additional costs for repairs required beyond the scope of a basic head rebuild will be identified and repairs performed upon customer approval.

RWS newly designed tennon heads are designed with new angles and configurations. Advantages include running more efficiently and cleaner with less power; a range of tennon diameter available on some heads; machined from solid carbon steel for long term use; improved knife design for improved cutting performance.

Round Wood Systems now also has available the “Economical” Pointer Capper machine. This new pointer capper machine has the same capability as the standard machine at 40% less cost. This machine will accommodate post diameters in the range of 2? to 8? and post lengths in the range of 6? to 12?.
